Back after an amazing event including sold-out shows for Funeral For A Friend and Kid British in 2011, the fourth annual Volume Festival takes place across 10 venues in the Cheshire town over the Diamond Jubliee Bank Holiday Weekend (June 1-4).

With bands crammed into virtually every pub, club and bar on the circuit, it's a great chance to see lots of up-and-coming, local and established acts of all genres.

And it's a crawl - part of the appeal is catching bands you never thought you'd go and see live.
